When you look to get an engagement ring for your bride, there are going to be lots of different things that you are going to need to consider. The first thing that you need to look into will be the shape of your partner's finger. If they have shorter and thicker fingers then pear rings are going to be suitable. If however they have more nimble fingers, elongated diamond shapes such as an oval or emerald would be ideal.
It is also a good idea to simply ask your bride to be about what sort of rings they like. If it is all out in the open that you are going to be getting married and then this can be done quite easily, but if you are going to surprise them with an engagement ring then you need to be more subtle.
To do this you could simply ask her friends and family what sort of rings she might like and what she likes best. You could also consider looking through her different pieces of jewellery to find different fashion and style trends that she tends to enjoy. If you can find a ring that suits her personal preferences then this will be perfect.
